Who we are
History
Founded in 2000 by the Association du cancer de l’Est du Québec (ACEQ), the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) and its Institut des sciences de la mer (ISMER), the CRBM supports industrial growth of the biotechnology sector including marine biotechnology.
A non-profit organization, the CRBM began focusing, in 2004, primarily on research, development and transfer of technologies to facilitate private-sector development.
Mission
The CRBM’s mission is to support and contribute to growth in the marine biotechnology sector through research, scientific development and industrial transfer activities, particularly in life sciences and environmental.
